It's a really cool place to come chill and have some great food. The fried alligator was interesting. Our server was amazing. Service was quick. I totally recommend coming here to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. So much better than the mad house next door called Gringos. Hands down. Delicious food 😋
The food was great and there was a minimal wait time. Our server Ava M was very involved and kept conversation flowing well while bringing the food out in a timely manner. She was awesome and snorted when she laughed at our jokes LOL me and my wife raved about that on the car ride home. 10/10 would recommend and ask for Ava she was great
Jack the manager and Ava M. our server made our dining experience so sweet and amazing!! our boudin queso was SO yummy, we got lemon butter chicken, grown up grilled cheese, and blackened chicken alfredo. Which all came out absolutely delish! definitely ask for Ava M.!!! and make sure you meet Jack the manager he’s such a sweetheart and will make sure everything is perfect!
Me and my family really enjoyed the food here! We came and had a nice , lovely dinner. And our server Jayden was super greeting and respectful! It was our first time here and he helped answer our questions about the menu perfectly. Our food came out at a decent time as well. 10/10 I would definitely come back!!
Absolutely amazing experience at Walk-On’s! The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly, but what really made the visit stand out was the service. Managers Jack and Jared both checked on us multiple times throughout our meal to make sure everything was perfect and that we had everything we needed. Their attention to detail and genuine care for customers created such a welcoming atmosphere. It’s clear that this location takes pride in both its food and customer service. From the moment we walked in until we left, everyone was friendly, attentive, and professional. The restaurant was clean, energetic, and had a great vibe overall. Jack and Jared went above and beyond to make our experience memorable, and it definitely did not go unnoticed. We’ll absolutely be back and would highly recommend this Walk-On’s to anyone looking for great food and outstanding service!
Lauren was absolutely fantastic! She was happy, friendly, attentive, and incredibly thorough throughout our entire visit. She made sure we had everything we needed, checked on us regularly, and genuinely seemed to care that we were having a great experience. Her positive attitude and attention to detail really stood out. Great service can completely make a dining experience, and Lauren absolutely did that for us. Walk-On’s College Station is lucky to have her. We’ll definitely be back!
We arrived around lunch with a group of 20. They sat us within 20 minutes in the outdoor area. Waitresses handled the multiple tabs and tables well. Food was good overalll but I was really impressed with my Shrimp Po-boy. Batter, bread and portion was spot on. I've had hundreds of poboys all across LA and this one was on point. Overall a good experience. Would recommend.
Our waitress was Ms. Ella and the manager is Mr. Jack. They both were very awesome. Ms. Ella had a very good vibe and very much hospitable. She interacted with us and not just asking how the food was. If she didn't know an answer she got the answer to our questions. Explained everything very well, too. Will be back and ask for her specifically!
I had a great experience with this Madi L. From the moment we were seated, they were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. They checked in often without being overbearing, kept our drinks filled, and made sure our food came out correctly and in a timely manner. They had a positive attitude the entire time and handled everything professionally, even when it got busy. Great customer service like this makes a big difference, and they definitely made our visit more enjoyable. I would happily come back and hope to have them as our server again!
My friend and I went to Walk-Ons for lunch and it did not disappoint. Tamara was so sweet and attentive making sure we had everything we needed. I ended up ordering one of their burgers that had a fried egg on it, minus the bun which was substituted for lettuce. SO GOOD!! If you like sweet potato fries, get the upgrade. It was only a little over a dollar more and so worth it. I ate every single bite and yet didn't feel like I overindulged on greasy food. The atmosphere was great too. They had good music playing, but you could still carryon an easy conversation without feeling like you had to raise your voice to hear each other. I will definitely be back! Thanks again, Tamara, for taking such good care of us!
